Fall at The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill

Hannah & Chris "met" me for the first time over the phone - and we talked for so long that it was like we were old friends. It didn't feel like I was seeing Hannah for the second time, ever, when I walked in to the venue. It feels like I've known her for forever. Or like I was meeting Chris for the first time "in real life," ever.

These two were surrounded by some of the most joyful, friendliest people the entire day. You can tell that both sides of the family are so happy for and so supportive of these two.

The weather lately has been so hit or miss here in WNC but they had perfect October wedding weather. No rain. A few clouds. A cool breeze. & the leaves were starting to change color. [The videographer and I took turns shaking tree branches because... anything for a fun fall photo for a sweet couple, right?]

Their venue is one of my favorites because everything is within a few feet of everything else. Places for details? Check. A pretty room for her to get ready in? Check. The dance floor right next to the chapel/ceremony area? Check.

Pink & Blue weddings are my favorite (frequent blog readers know this) and one of the things I like least about fall is I almost never see blues and pinks - but these two chose colors that matched the season AND included them, which is a Vicki world win. How amazing do they all look together and how perfectly do the florals match their outfits? Kristi with Stargazers ALWAYS does an amazing job (and I love pointing out to brides who may not have noticed that she subtly brushes glitter across some of the florals, Hannah was delighted to discover that fun fact).

I hope you all enjoy these previews as much as I enjoyed being there (and not being rained on).
