A Thank You 17 Years In The Making

Many of you might have received this as an email - but I had a couple (hundred) emails (out of about 1500) bounce back because it thought I was spamming old client emails. So, I'm putting it here, too - while I get a little better at managing my email marketing (a tool I really haven't ever utilized and am not an expert in).
The people on that email list were clients who still had PASS Galleries (my old gallery host - who I left about five years ago for CloudSpot - but have continued to pay for because there were about 600 galleries still in PASS).
So, if you hired me from around 2014-2019 - this Thank You is for you! (& Honestly, any other client who has hired me from 2012 to now.
This was the email that was sent:

Hello! If you are receiving this email it is for one of two reasons.
1: That sometime in the last 12-17 years you had a photo session with me, or someone you love sent you the link to theirs. About four years ago I switched to a different gallery host from PASS (where your gallery/their gallery was uploaded online). There are still about 400 galleries there, even though I have moved many of them. Most of those sessions and weddings happened before the twins were born (they are 12 now) while I was just beginning to learn to take photographs. I am slowly moving them to my new system (after five years of keeping up with both). Once yours is moved, you'll receive an email that you have another year or so before the gallery is deleted permanently.
Do not panic just because you saw the word delete.
I truly will make sure you know this is happening, and have at least a year to download and save your files elsewhere. As a thank you, for being a client before I even knew what I was doing, I would like to off you a 25% off session - at any point in the future. Just mention this email - and that you were one of my clients in the beginning. Some exclusions (like combining with other offers/discounts) apply - but reach out for sure and we can talk through those.
I did say two reasons for receiving this. So, reason 2: If you are a current client, getting this email because you have continued to hire me through the years and now have galleries in multiple places - you can still use this offer for a future session (one not already scheduled/planned). I will also be adding your photos to your current galleries (where they will stay for at least five years from your most recent session). They will simply be new chapters.
Please opt out of emails if you don't wish to get updates on discounts, big life events for the twins or myself, or blog post updates. If you stay - you'll get to hear about their first year in middle school this year, my first year of Grad school, and you'll get to see some of my favorite sessions and weddings via the blog. If you want, be sure to follow along on Instagram or Facebook as well - where I do a much better job of updating things than I do on the website or the blog.
If you've been out of the loop - I am also teaching special education full time (this is going to be my third year) at Canton Middle School. I also offer a referral program now (with cash rewards for referring me successfully to your friends). Learn more here about that.
Whether you stay opted in, or you choose to opt out and go.
Whether you've hired me more than once or just once a long time ago...
Thank you for being a part of this journey.
It was an accidental career, and a life-changing one.
For me, and for the twins as well.

SO, if you didn't get that email - and feel like you should have, please scroll to the bottom of this page and subscribe. They are especially helpful around the holidays if you like a good deal - and when there are huge life updates about the twins or myself, those show up there as well if you aren't a social media person.
PS - the twins, my dad, and I will be in Cocoa Beach the week of July 20th-25th.
If you want to schedule a beach or pool mini, let me know - or if you want to plan a time to come hang out. Naturally, we will be making at least one trip to Dogs R Us.
Per tradition.
